I have been free-lancing as a writer/editor for eighteen years with a combination of technical writing, manuscript development, and technical editing, for major computer book publishers in the United States.

For several years I also have consulted on Web site development and design. 

Company history

After working as a registered nurse for several years, I prayed for a new direction. I began taking various accounting and computer courses, completed a new degree, and worked a variety of techie positions—from programmer to analyst to system administrator. Finally I found my most portable occupation—free-lance editing—which I have transported from Virginia to Indiana, back to Virginia, to the DC area, and now in Florida.
